It’s always a difficult line to walk when you love a product but the people who run the company that makes the product are people you really don’t like.
That’s how a lot of people feel about Starbucks. Good coffee. But, then they run around and spread their liberal worldview and it takes the pleasure out of the whole experience.
Another example of liberal intolerance at Starbucks popped up recently and it wasn’t good.
Apparently, a woman wearing a Trump shirt walked into a Starbucks and was hassled by the baristas.
From The Daily Mail:
Kayla Hart went to her local Starbucks in Dilworth, NC wearing a t-shirt in support of President Donald Trump and was bullied by her barista, she claims.
Hart says when she walked into the coffee shop the cashier laughed in her face.
Instead of getting her name on her cup as is the custom at the widely popular chain, she got a political message instead. In place of her name her cup label read ‘BUILD A WALL’ on her venti green iced tea.
Nice organization they are running over there.
Here’s what Starbucks had to say about it.
From The Daily Wire:
Hart submitted a complaint to the store. FOX 46 also reached out for a response and got the following statement from the company:
We failed to meet this customer’s expectations of us, and we have apologized and are working directly with her to make it right. This experience is not consistent with our standards or the welcoming and respectful experience we aim to provide every customer who visit our stores. We have spoken with our store partners about this situation and are using this as a coaching opportunity for the future.
Hart said she also got a response from Starbucks but has yet to hear back from the district manager. As for whether or not she’ll ever step foot back in that Starbucks again, Hart says she hasn’t made up her mind.
I guess that response is OK?
Should never have happened in the first place though and Starbucks dropped the ball by not making sure every employee knows that kind of behavior isn’t acceptable.
You know that’s not the first time it’s happened either. Clearly, those employees know they have a long leash.
Get it together Starbucks.
