Americans everywhere are celebrating the historic election of Donald Trump and his defeat of the establishment. Now, Republicans who once fought against him are coming out in support of the new president-elect of the United States.
Cruz took the time to not only congratulate Donald Trump but to also address the everyday man in this country because Cruz knows how important this election was to the working man.

Cruz criticized Trump during the primary, but he has been moving into the Trump camp for months.
Now, Cruz, like other Americans, understands that a Trump victory means a trove of new tax cuts for the middle class.
First, Donald Trump has promised to repeal Obamacare, which would mean removing the premium rate hikes and tax penalties that are hurting middle class families.
Next, the new president-elect wants to renegotiate trade deals that are killing our country and shipping jobs overseas. Trump wants companies to pay penalties for building American products in Mexico and other countries.
Tax cuts are at the top of Trump’s agenda because he knows that these will help America attract businesses. High taxes on businesses only give companies an incentive to hold money overseas and take their jobs elsewhere. Trump is a man who understands how companies grow, how they fail, and how to manage debt. With Trump as president, we will be able to cut the national debt and stop making so many interest payments to China.
In reaction to Trump’s election, Asian markets have gone down because investors know Trump is going to get tough on China and attract business from Asian markets back to our own.
Lastly, Trump will make this country safe and secure by strengthening our military and defeating ISIS. This will increase confidence in our markets and will see them bounce back from this period of uncertainty.
Donald Trump’s election was a historic moment, and now the country should unite under its new president! I’m also thrilled we gained a Republican controlled House and Senate, so Trump can start bringing us immediately away from the failed policies of the Obama administration.
We all look forward to January 20th when Trump will be sworn in as the 45th president of the United States.
