It’s almost as if the Clinton family wants to alienate coal country.
On Friday President Bill Clinton mocked people from West Virginia and Kentucky during a speech in support of his wife. The former President slammed “coal people”–as he derisively called them–for supporting Donald Trump over Hillary.
“We all know how [Hillary’s] opponent has done well down in West Virginia and eastern Kentucky,” the former president told the crowd. “The coal people don’t like any of us [Democrats] anymore.”
“They blame the president when the sun doesn’t come up in the morning now,” Clinton added.
This isn’t the first time the Clinton family has put coal country in their crosshairs. Earlier this year Hillary vowed to “put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business” if she’s elected president.
