Hopefully Donald Trump never gets tired of being proven right. When a private Facebook message posted by the network’s chair suddenly became public, the Republican finally had the information he needed to prove NBC is biased and favors Liberals.
NBC Chair Robert Greenblatt not only hurled disgusting insults at a presidential candidate his news network is supposed to be covering fairly, he chastised Trump for daring to speak his mind and deem such an honesty in politics approach as “pompous,” according to Breitbart.com.
“It’s actually corrosive and toxic because his ‘mind’ is so demented; and his effect will unfortunately linger long after he’s been told to get off the stage,” Greenblatt typed in the post he intended to make private.
The NBC executive never referred to Donald Trump by name, but it was not difficult in the slightest to figure out who he was bashing.
Robert Greenblatt also mocked Trump’s ability to be and sustain success because The Apprentice “consistently ran LAST in its time period.”
Greenblatt apparently does not pay too much attention to his network’s ratings history. Donald Trump’s reality show was a huge hit for NBC until its final season when the Celebrity Apprentice segments began airing
NBC, part of Comcast Corporation subsidiary NBCUniversal, had so far declined to comment about the executive’s comments about Donald Trump. Greenblatt became the entertainment chairman for the network in 2011.
When Donald Trump appeared on an episode of NBC’s Saturday Night Live, the show garnered its best ratings in at least two years.
During a news conference this year, Robert Greenblatt said if NBC ever allowed guests on the air which its executives ever disagreed with in public, the network would soon “be out of business.”
“We’re not in business with him, but love him or not, he’s one of the most important political figures of our time,” Greenblatt previously said about Donald Trump.
The NBC executive compared Trump’s television credentials and successful run in the GOP primary to Ronald Reagan’s time spent in the entertainment realm before running for office.
Greenblatt’s comments about Donald Trump in public sure are a lot different than the crude comments he makes about him in private.
NBC and MSNBC news lost all credibility years ago due to their biased coverage and partisan hosts. If they ultimately go off the air, so few would even notice – or care.
