Barack Obama has no shame. The man is all ego. All showboat. He wanders around the globe, racking up huge costs to taxpayers and all we ask is that he do one simple thing.
Respect the sacred American tradition of not ripping into the next President.
We have this tradition for a very good reason.
The job is hard. You get incoming from all sides. Obama got it bad too, not as bad as Trump, but Obama got some nasty treatment.
So, amidst the constant attacks any president gets the key to stability is for the former president, whether loved or hated, to stay silent.
Most countries do not transfer power peacefully. The old leader stands around in the shadow of the new one always quick to bash the new guy to try to take back power.
We don’t do that. We have one President at a time. It has worked for our entire history, why does Obama want to change it now?
Look if he won’t respect American tradition why do we have to respect his pension? Congress should immediately pass their bill to revoke pensions on Presidents, like Obama, who cash in after the job.
“There are going to be some big decisions to make about Indonesia and about the United States and about the world in the years to come,” he said. “It’s been clear for a while that the world is at a crossroads, at an inflection point.”
“The world is more prosperous than ever before, but this has also brought significant changes that are dangerous. We start seeing a rise in sectarian politics, we start seeing a rise in an aggressive kind of nationalism, we start seeing both in developed and developing countries an increased resentment about minority groups and the bad treatment of people who don’t look like us or practice the same faith as us.”
Before adding the menacing line aimed directly at Trump that lost him his pension, or should:
“We start seeing discrimination against people based on race or ethnicity or religion. Those threats must be confronted.”
Share if you think Barack has gone a little too far in his constant attacks against Trump and we should at least revoke his lavish pension.
