Military Chaplain Defies Obama By Quoting The Bible, So Obama Does THIS

Military chaplain Joe Lawhorn faced some serious backlash after he quoted the Bible during a suicide prevention seminar at University of North Georgia.

During his speech, Lawhorn shared his personal story, noting that God helped him to beat depression. He credited his faith in Jesus for getting him through the hard times he was facing.

“What I had tried to communicate with my audience is that depression can be conquered, depression can be overcome, and there are a myriad of ways of dealing with depression,” Lawhorn told the Daily Signal after he was criticized for the religious aspects of his speech.

What do you think? Is Lawhorn wrong for encouraging our troops to use the Bible to get through hard times? Or do you support him in his faith?
