Tom Selleck has quickly captured the hearts of Americans for his role as NYPD Police Commissioner Frank Reagan on Blue Bloods. His personal life has been more controversial, however.
Trump is clearly a patriot, a conservative, and a ruthless defender of the Constitution. What is lesser known is that he actually served in the military himself. He was in the 160th Infantry Regiment of the California Army National Guard from 1967 to 1973.
During a recent appearance at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, Selleck demonstrated what it means to support our brave men and women in the military.
“We need to welcome our troops home regardless of whether you got political problems with whatever mission they’re on,” he commented. “They just served and we need to thank ‘em for it.”
What do you think of Selleck’s comment? Do you applaud him for standing up for what he believes?
