Clinton campaign admits: Hillary used same tax avoidance ‘scheme’ as Donald Trump

Scratch a liberal, find a hypocrite.  Earlier today, we reported that the New York Times published pages from some of Donald Trump’s 1995 tax return — possibly violating federal law.  Naturally, Democrat Hillary Clinton, perhaps the most evil person ever nominated to the White House by a major party, blasted Trump for following the law.

But, Zero Hedge reported Sunday, it turns out Hillary Clinton did the EXACT. SAME. THING.

Let that sink in for just a second before you continue.

According to Zero Hedge:

Well this is a little awkward. With the leaked 1995 Trump tax returns ‘scandal’ focused on the billionaire’s yuuge “net operating loss” and how it might have ‘legally’ enabled him to pay no taxes for years, we now discover none other than Hillary Rodham Clinton utilized a $700,000 “loss” to avoid paying some taxes in 2015.

The Clinton Campaign was quick to jump on the leaked Trump tax filing with Robby Mook tweeting…

However, a look back at Hillary Clinton’s tax returns from 2015 (here), proudly displayed by the campaign proving she has nothing to hide – shows something awkward on page 17…

Hillary taxesWait, what?  You mean Hillary did the same thing as Trump?  Why, yes she did.

Granted, it’s not on the scale that Trump reported, but it does show more than a bit of hypocrisy on her part.

And keep in mind, the New York Times, the “media” outlet that (perhaps illegally) published Trump’s tax papers, didn’t pay a dime in taxes in 2014 despite a huge profit.

But we’re all supposed to get upset because Trump followed the law back in 1995.

Let’s hope Trump brings this up at the next debate…

Pot, meet kettle.
