The mainstream media along the loony left are still freaking out at President Trump’s early morning tweets last Saturday.
Those series of tweets accusing Obama of impersonating a 1960’s cold war Russian KGB agent, at first seemed preposterous, and even some Trump supporters seemed doubtful of the president’s claim; “Is it legal for a sitting President to be “wiretapping” a race for president prior to an election? Turned down by court earlier, A NEW LOW!
Followed by yet another tweet: “Terrible! Just found out that Obama had me “wire-tapped” in Trump Tower just before the victory. Nothing found. This is McCarthyism!
Which of course set the media into overdrive, and the “paper of record” the New York Times demanding to see the proof, which ironically was provided in an article written by one of their own reporters Michael Schmidt which appeared on their website on the evening of January 19th and then again on the front page on January 20th, Inauguration Day, referencing within the article “intercepted communications” and then referencing “a part of a broad investigation into possible links between Russian officials and associates of President-elect Donald J. Trump.”
Which brings us back to President Obama’s involvement and the potential of perhaps “FELONY CHARGES” being filed (if proven) he used his office to illegally spy on a private citizen, which of course would be unprecedented within American politics.
Lt. Col Tony Shaffer, within a recent n interview, outlined a scenario that this potential scandal could be even bigger than Watergate, (which brought down the presidency of Richard Nixon), referencing ‘Obamagate’ an “order of magnitude, using nation-state resources for purposes of political gain.”
When questioned further about the potential of having a former president arrested for violating federal law, Shaffer acknowledged it would be the “first time a former president could be indicted for a felony.”
He continued; “…I think it is very possible that he acted outside of the scope of his duties, responsibilities and authorities to turn the resources of a nation-state on a candidate. This is, as I’ve said before, soviet-dictator level wrongdoing.”
Moreover, Obama has already demonstrated that he’s not above using government resources in targeting his enemies, least we forget how Obama used the Justice Department, the IRS, and the NSA, in targeting private citizens, Fox Journalist James Rosen, and even German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
