Michelle Obama hid a lot from the American people in her eight years as first lady, and what we’re now learning about the woman behind the man is absolutely shocking!
During Michelle Obama’s final year at Harvard Law School, she wrote an article for the college’s Black Law Student’s Association (BLSA). The future first lady, who was then named Robinson, argued Harvard was increasing “racist and sexist stereotypes” by not intentionally hiring law professors based on the color of their skin.
“The faculty’s decision to distrust and ignore non-traditional qualities in choosing and tenuring law professors merely reinforces racist and sexist stereotypes,” Michelle Robinson Obama wrote. “Which, in turn, serve to legitimize students’ tendencies to distrust certain types of teaching that do not resemble the traditional images.”
Michelle Obama wanted the top law school in the country to hire more minority and female law professors, it seems, regardless of their qualifications for the job. In the 1988 article, Michelle demanded Harvard Law School stop using the “traditional model” of students being taught via the Socratic method, The Daily Caller reports.
Obama’s essay was entitled, “Minority and Women Law Professors: A Comparison of Teaching Styles.” It ran in a special edition of the group’s newsletter, the BLSA Memo. She lambasted the practice of Harvard hiring professors with better law pedigrees because she felt it limited the success of both black and female applicants.
Students work exceptionally hard to get into Harvard, so they can receive the best education possible. They pay an enormous price to sit in a seat at the Ivy League school for one reason — to be able to get an amazingly good paying job that has the potential to set them up for a political career if they so choose.
Michelle specifically criticized the image of the perfect Harvard law professor made famous by the 1970 bestseller written by John Osborn, The Paper Chase. She also demeaned the 1977 autobiographical novel, One-L, by Scott Turow.
Obama claimed both books promoted Harvard Law School’s habit of hiring and rewarding “cold, callous, domineering, old, white men.” According to Michelle, such professors took great “pleasure in engaging their students in humiliating and often brutal discourse.”
It was not just the Harvard Law School administrators Michelle loathed — it was her classmates as well. She said they engaged in “racist” and “sexist” behavior. She felt, and likely still does, that her fellow classmates bought fully into the “image” of what a proper law school should involve.
Michelle did have high praise for some in the legal realm — far left liberals, of course. Her legal heroes included Martha Minow and Charles Ogletree. Neither followed the Socratic method. Minow’s dad ultimately recruited both Michelle and Barack Obama to the Sidley Austin law firm in Chicago.
Ogletree served as a mentor to both Obamas while they were in college. Rumors have long existed that the union between the couple was a carefully arranged marriage for political purposes — and they just might be right.
During the 2008 election, Ogletree eventually confessed to concealing a video tape of the presidential candidate staunchly praising “critical race theory” architect Derrick Bell. The mainstream media, of course, ignored the scandalous video.
Michelle echoed Barack’s sentiments. She reportedly felt the law was being used as a powerful weapon against the weak and not as an instrument of justice.
One thing is clear, we need this woman to stay out of our political scene because she may actually be more radical than Barack!
